POPCS parent’s school wide does an amazing job of cutting and collecting box tops. Last year we earned $2,753.00, which will be donated to the POPCS “wish list.” Collections happen twice a year in the fall and spring.

It is important to raise awareness about the achievements, success and legacy of the PTF. The Historian captures and keeps a record of our activities and successes through pictures and video. Of course, you don’t have to be the photographer at every event! You can request photos from peers, organize them into a scrapbook or electronic slide show and then share at the end of the year.
Nothing puts a smile on a student’s face like ice cream! PTF sells a wide variety of ice cream treats every Friday during all the lunches. Students can bring a dollar each Friday to purchase an ice cream or parents can purchase an ice cream pass for the year to eliminate the hassle of remembering the weekly ice cream money. Ice cream passes are now sold online. Ice cream pass forms due dates will be published before the start of the school year.
Coordinator: Marissa Howard
The past three years “Adopt a Teacher/Staff Member” has been a great success! The teachers and staff members absolutely love being showered with extra care and love each month as well as on their birthdays. We are excited to provide the opportunity for families to be a part of this program again this year!
Coordinator: Renette Schmidtke
The MS Coordinators work directly with the Middle School administration to help organize and oversee MS events such as: ice cream social, dessert bar, socials, and the 8th grade graduation party.

Do you like helping others, meeting new people, volunteering at the school and coordinating class parties? Are you organized, creative or just have a great attitude and a love for POPCS? If you are any of those and want to get more involved next year, being a PTF Class Representative is a great way to help the teacher, get to know the kids in your child’s class, get to know other parents and serve the school. This is a yearlong commitment and may be shared with more than one PTF Representative.
Coordinator: Courtney Thompson
