Fundraisers and Volunteer Opportunities
Students are highly encouraged by advisors to participate in fundraising and committee activities for their class when allowed. Class Advisors are responsible for providing student sign-ups for events where assistance is required and POSSE is responsible for providing parent support. Monies raised follow each class all the way to 12th grade when it is divided equally and offsets the cost of your student’s Disney trip.
The Sophomore Class is responsible for planning, staffing and executing all MS and HS concession events for the year, and receives all profits from concession sales. The goal is to raise monies for the Senior Class trip to Disney while providing hospitality to all on campus visitors. Each sophomore student is asked to perform 8 hours per student, and an additional 8 hours for parent(s)/family, totaling 16 hours of service hours for the Concessions Initiative within the 2017-2018 school year. Since all students share the concession proceeds toward their trip cost the families who do not meet the concession requirement will be billed at the end of the sophomore year. The 2017-2018 letter of acknowledgement can be downloaded here, don’t forget the deadline to return is Friday, September 1.
