Fundraisers and Volunteer Opportunities
Students are highly encouraged by advisors to participate in fundraising and committee activities for their class when allowed. Class Advisors are responsible for providing student sign-ups for events where assistance is required and POSSE is responsible for providing parent support. Monies raised follow each class all the way to 12th grade when it is divided equally and offsets the cost of your student’s Disney trip.
Senior Parking Spots
Parking spots in the east parking lot may be purchased by seniors the summer before school starts, to customize and serve as a reserved parking spot for the school year. At the end of the year, the spots are painted over and available for next year’s graduating class. Prices vary but usually range from $125-$200.
Homecoming Golf Cart Decor
With direction coming from the Senior student body and the Senior Advisors (Heidi Henke and Rick Knotts), the students come up with a design. The Advisors will contact the POSSE Lead Rep with a list of needed supplies.
Time frame: Fall
This event is sponsored by the Senior class. With the direction from the Senior student body and the Senior Advisors, the students come up with a Homecoming theme. The advisors and senior homecoming committee meet with the senior class POSSE representatives to discuss the theme, decorating ideas and details. Typically the parents decorate, set up and clean up for this event. They need to secure a DJ and provide snacks and drinks as well. Click here to volunteer.
Time frame: *October 7
Sales will take place in October and November. This is the senior class’ largest fundraiser to earn funds towards the senior trip in May.
